On 23 August 2022, we had a visit from Radio Art Zone at our exhibition MinettREMIX where we recorded a live show over lunchtime. We prepared lunch together and talked about our association and our MinettREMIX project, in the frame of Esch2022.
Since we didn’t have a kitchen in the Fondouq hall in Dudelange, where our exhibition was held, we opted for a picnic with cold dishes instead. It was a quite adventurous to put together a lunch without a kitchen!
Radio Art Zone is a 100-day “radio art station” that was broadcast in the south of Luxembourg by Radio ARA on 87.8 FM, during the European Capital of Culture Esch2022. For 100 days, from 18 June to 25 September 2022, the Radio Art Zone team recorded 22-hour radio productions, by more than 100 international and local artists, and broadcast 2-hour live programmes from 12 to 2 pm from different kitchens within the Minett region of Luxembourg.
