Deeply rooted in our history, Saint Barbara’s Day is a popular tradition honouring the miners who risked their lives working underground. To celebrate this heritage, the CNCI and Kulturfabrik are joining forces once again, with the participation of MUAR this year, and invite you to a festive and welcoming evening.
Join us on Saturday, 5 December 2026, for the Saint Barbara Night Market, a unique event where visitors of all ages can take part in creative workshops, (re)discover the story of Saint Barbara and enjoy the lively sounds of a spirited brass band.
On the programme:
- A parade by the miners’ brass band
- A makers’ market
- Creative workshops
- A food truck
- A mini Buttek
- VJ set by Sylvgheist Maëlström
- A sound installation exploring the history of Saint Barbara at @Kinosch
- A blacksmith
- And many more surprises…
And of course, to make the evening even more festive, a beer specially brewed for the occasion and a selection of delicious treats will be available to delight your taste buds.
In short, an event not to be missed for a memorable evening with friends or family!
