The Centre national de la culture industrielle (CNCI) and the Luxembourg Center for Architecture (LUCA) are joining forces to launch a new series of talks exploring the many lives of Luxembourg’s industrial heritage.
Taking place during the lunch break, les Midis du Patrimoine Industriel invite participants to discover projects dedicated to the preservation, transformation and reuse of sites inherited from Luxembourg’s industrial past.
How can these places be preserved while being given new uses? How can they be transformed without erasing their history? And how can they become resources for imagining new architecture and shaping the territories of tomorrow?
Through three concrete examples, the series will explore different approaches to adaptive reuse and highlight the challenges involved in preserving, enhancing and transforming industrial heritage.
Designed as a short, accessible and informal format, each session will include a presentation followed by a discussion with the speakers and an opportunity to continue the conversation over light refreshments.
