As part of the Sainte-Barbe celebrations, the CNCI aimed this year to raise awareness among younger generations about this important tradition. In collaboration with KuFa, the CNCI organized a school workshop and had the pleasure of welcoming the class of Madame Ascani, a teacher at Brill School in the City of Esch-sur-Alzette.
After a presentation of the Sainte-Barbe legend by the CNCI, the students collaboratively created a fanzine to be distributed during the Grand Sainte-Barbe Evening on December 4, 2024, at KuFa. Guided by artist Irina Moons, the children illustrated various aspects of the Sainte-Barbe tradition. They were also introduced to screen printing to finalize the fanzine.
