How are digital technologies transforming the way we document, preserve, interpret and communicate industrial heritage?
Organised by CNCI and C²DH, the conference Digital Future of Industrial Heritage? will bring together researchers, heritage professionals, cultural institutions, artists and digital practitioners to explore emerging practices and challenges in the digital transformation of industrial heritage.
The day will open with a keynote lecture by Marinos Ioannides, Director of the UNESCO Chair on Digital Cultural Heritage at the Cyprus University of Technology.

How can artificial intelligence be used in the heritage sector? What opportunities, limitations and questions does its development raise?
3:00 p.m. – Panel 3: Digital Mediation of (Industrial) Heritage
Short presentations of projects exploring new forms of heritage interpretation, experience and engagement through digital technologies.
4:00 p.m. – Closing remarks
Coffee breaks and lunch will also be provided during the day.
