On December 4th, we will celebrate Saint Barbara, the patron saint of miners, among others. Who was she? How was she celebrated? Why do we honor her?

The fanzine workshop offered on December 3rd by CNCI will give children the chance to discover this symbolic figure of our industrial heritage.

With artist Irina Moons, young participants will create their own fanzine. Using various techniques such as drawing, collage, and screen printing, children will craft their own magazine to tell their version of the legend of Saint Barbara.

The fanzines will be printed in limited quantities and will be available on December 4th during the grand Saint Barbara evening organized by CNCI and the KuFa.
